Polynucleotides are taking the industry by storm, but what are they, and why should you consider getting them?
In simple terms, polynucleotides are the building blocks of DNA. They have been used in the medical field for decades to improve wound healing, amongst other things. They stimulate the skin to make hyaluronic acid, collagen, and elastin – this results in brighter, tighter, and more hydrated skin. Polynucleotides also have anti-inflammatory properties, making them the perfect treatment for rosacea, eczema, and psoriasis. They also improve the immune response of the skin, reduce pigmentation, reduce scarring, and can re-awaken hair follicles.

We can use polynucleotides all over the body, but popular treatment areas include the face, neck, décolletage, hands, abdomen, and upper arms. They are injected superficially into the skin using a small needle. Numbing cream is used to make the treatment more comfortable, but it does sting a little.
It is one of our most popular treatments, and our very own Dr Malaika loves it! Want to know more, why not book in for a consultation!
